Jim Liu joined Kanister Films in 2021, bringing expertise in directing, writing, and cinematography from the commercial and corporate sectors. With an Honours degree in Cultural Studies from the University of Queensland and as a current PhD candidate at Monash University, his dissertation, "Laughing on the Margins: The Evolution of Asian Representation in Television Comedy Genres," merges television studies, humour theory, and Asian diasporic studies. This background enables him to create content that is visually appealing and culturally meaningful, helping brands connect with diverse audiences at Kanister

Vincent Cui joined Kanister Films in 2021 and plays a pivotal role in bridging brands with audiences through cross-cultural storytelling and commercially driven creative. With a background in brand communication, production, and business strategy, Vincent leads client partnerships and strategic development—translating marketing goals into high-impact visual campaigns. Fluent in both Chinese and English media logic, he enables Australian brands to connect authentically with Chinese-speaking audiences, while guiding Asian businesses in navigating Western markets with cultural precision and commercial clarity.

Zee leads projects end-to-end—from concept development to final delivery—managing crews, overseeing post-production, and collaborating directly with clients and agencies. With a strong belief that every frame should serve a purpose, Zee is driven by a commitment to visual storytelling that’s both strategic and impactful, delivering content that resonates, performs, and creates lasting value for brands.

Zoey joined Kanister Films in 2024 as a Social Media Manager and now leads the creative team as Marketing Manager, where she works closely with clients to build creative campaigns that connect brands with their audiences.

With  hands-on experience in producing, casting, and digital marketing, her work balances creative ideas with purposeful direction.

At Kanister, Zoey helps shape ideas into content that’s not only visually engaging, but culturally resonant and audience-driven.

Henry specializes in realizing your ideas through camera and editing.

Ashley joined Kanister Films as a designer in 2024, bringing a strong foundation in graphic design and a passion for emotional storytelling through visual language. Influenced by illustration, music videos, fashion, and unconventional narratives, her work is shaped by a desire to explore perspective, feeling, and form. At Kanister, she contributes across set design, branding, social media, merchandise, and photography—applying a sharp eye for detail, a collaborative mindset, and an obsessive pursuit of refined taste and creative meaning.

Louis Nasplezes joined Kanister Films as a Video Editor in 2025.

Coming from a history of Film Design and Production, Louis is interested in the possibilities of video and multimedia editing as an outlet for creative expression and visual storytelling. His love for art, design, and visual communication fuels his passion to learn more about his craft, and share the beauty found in his travels across the globe.
