Your details stay with us.
We collect only what we need to reply to you and do the work you asked for. No tracking cookies, nothing sold.
01Who we are
This website is run by Kanister Films Pty Ltd (ABN 46 662 216 293), trading as kanister, in Brisbane, Australia. This page explains what personal information we collect through kanister.au, why, and what happens to it.
02What we collect
- When you book a call or the studio: your name, email address and anything you add to the booking form, such as a phone number or project details. Bookings are handled by Calendly.
- When you email us: your email address and whatever you write.
- Visit statistics: Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views, the page you came from, your browser and country. It does not use cookies and does not identify you.
03What we don’t do
- We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
- We don’t sell your information or share it for anyone else’s marketing.
- The site remembers whether you chose the light or dark version, in your own browser. That setting never leaves your device.
04Why we use it
To reply to you, to arrange and deliver the call, studio booking or project you asked about, and to invoice for it. We keep it only as long as we need it for that, or as long as the law requires us to keep business records.
05Who handles it for us
We use a few services to run the site and our business. They process your information on our behalf, and some of them store it outside Australia, including in the United States:
- Calendly for bookings — their privacy notice
- Microsoft 365 for email — their privacy statement
- Cloudflare for hosting and visit statistics — their privacy policy
06Other sites
The booking calendar is loaded from Calendly and may set its own cookies under Calendly’s policy. Links to Instagram, Google Maps and the sources we cite take you to other sites, which have their own privacy policies.
07Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing info@kanister.au. We’ll reply within 30 days.
If you’re not happy with how we handled a privacy concern, tell us first. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
08Changes
If we change how we handle personal information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
